Hi, I’m Alex
From professional fine art print publishing to woodblock printed, handmade clothing, my passion for print runs deep. I learned everything I could by printing collaboratively for artists of all mediums, focusing on copper etchings and woodblock printing, we worked in most of the traditional techniques. Working from unpaid intern to Master Printer and shop manager was the experience of many lifetimes and while I’m so grateful for the experience, everything I learned and everyone I had the honor of printing for, I was grateful to be leaving in 2021. Departing Texas for Virginia, for the next three years I focused on hosting my own residencies and becoming familiar with the market hustle. Every month I made new work, packed it all for individual sale and hauled it around to markets, spreading the gospel of printmaking. I started printing patches and sewing them onto the backs of vintage button ups, thus spawning the first version of my clothing line. In 2024 my whole world flipped upside down and I ended up back in my home state of Colorado. After doing my first runway, I dove into garment construction and began to get serious about making clothes. I print my woodblocks on fabric, draft the patterns and sew all the clothes in house right from the dungeons in Denver, Co. Its the season of Madhouse baby.
