The Asylum: drip
I started making vintage button ups a little more insane about three years ago. I’ve sold over 250 of these things nationwide and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Each garment is hand picked by me, washed and repaired if needed. After this, I stitch hand carved woodcut patches all over t hem. I’ve been embellishing pants as well, for a little snack of a moment when you roll a cuff. All of the patches are hand drawn, hand carved and hand printed by myself in Denver, Colorado.
The aim of the drip is to turn heads, to show up unapologetic and strong in yourself, bring sustainability to fashion and for the love of print, get more people talking about woodcuts. My next venture with the drip? garment construction for some insane brutalist swagger. Each piece is one of a kind so once you see it, I suggest snapping it up, before someone else does!
